is a licensed psychologist with more than 35 years of clinical experience with children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in providing evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapies for obsessive-compulsive disorder; body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair-pulling, skin-picking, etc.); anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, panic attacks and agoraphobia, and health anxiety; Tourette’s Disorder and motor tics; perfectionism; and parenting. She works with clients from school age through adulthood.
After working for most of her career as a partner in a large group practice, Dr. Dorsett established an independent, telehealth-only practice in 2025.
She previously held university and medical school faculty positions and taught at several universities and colleges as adjunct faculty. Her research as a university faculty member focused on social skills training and parenting.
A native Atlantan, Dr. Dorsett received her doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in behavior therapy, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology, from Georgia State University.
She completed the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) certification to provide exposure and response prevention (ERP) to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, the Professional Training Institute (PTI) in Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB) for body-focused repetitive behaviors, and the Tourette Association of America’s Tourette Syndrome Behavior Therapy Institute (TS-BTI) certification for Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment for Tics (CBIT). Dr. Dorsett is approved by PSYPACT®(the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) to offer telepsychology to all PSYPACT® states. (See if your state is included)

In her free time, Dr. Dorsett loves hiking, reading, writing, studying journalism history and biology, and staying connected to family and friends. She and her husband have two adult children and two senior rescue dogs, Atticus and Joss.
